- "I apologize for my fading enthusiasm, but I've been waiting for quite some time for a shipment of goods to arrive. These two shipwrights have been waiting with me, and one of them is becoming especially belligerent."
- ―Ral Mundi, to a spacer
Io Tsomcren was a male Mon Calamari shipwright who lived during the time of the Galactic Civil War. In 1 ABY,[2] Tarth Jaxx and another Mon Calamari shipwright, Tarth Jaxx, ordered a large shipment of starship component to Ral Mundi's Starship Emporium, in Coronet on the planet Corellia. However, when Jaxx and Tsomcren arrived in the Coronet Starport, the shipment was missing. Ral Mundi was confuse for the situation and deeply apologized for the delay. However, as the shipment did not show up Jaxx started to become hostile, while Tsomcren remained comprehensive. Mundi thus requested assistance of the Corellian Security Force and CorSec Lieutenant Mack Jasper sent a spacer to investigate.[1] The spacer discovered that the shipment was stolen by the Ragtag gang but finally managed to retrieve it. However, de to the Ragtag involvement, the shipwrights did not get the shipment immediately as the CorSec decide to hold it as evidence.[3]

Behind the scenes
Io Tsomcren was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[4]
Ral Mundi, Tarth Jaxx and Io Tsomcren were added to the game with the expansion Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed, released on October 27, 2004. This NPCs were originally three "greeter NPCs": NPCs present at the entrance of starports to provide general information to players arriving on a new planet.[5] With the release of the "Publish 21," on August 4, 2005,[6] a new quest featuring Ral Mundi, Tarth Jaxx and Io Tsomcren was added to the game. The quest, named "Find the Missing Shipment of Starship Components", was best known as "Ral Mundi's quest".[7] Ral Mundi's quest was revamped with the release of the "Publish 27," on February 15, 2006,[8] as the quest was inserted into the "Legacy Quest," the main questline in the game.[1][3]

Star Wars Galaxies (post-NGE) — Quest: "Find the Missing Shipment of Starship Components" on Corellia
- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
