The invasion of the Double Worlds was an attempt of Corellia and its allies to regain control of the separatist Double Worlds of Talus and Tralus.
History
Around 500 BBY, the inhabitants of Talus and Tralus responded to millennia of disdain by seceding from the central authority of Corellia that ruled the Corellian system, thereby creating the independent government of the Federation of the Double Worlds. Corellia gathered its troops along with those of the other planets of the system, Selonia, and Drall, to reconquer the Double Worlds. Certain of their superiority, the Corellian launched a violent but botched assault that was repelled. The ensuring war was long and bloody but the invaders failed to take over the rebellious planets. The Federation of the Double Worlds emerged as victorious and became the undisputed ruler of the Double Worlds.[1] This setback convinced the reclusive Selonians to definitively avoid meddling in affairs of other worlds.[2]
