The Institute of Applied Science was an educational facility located on the planet Coruscant. Galen Erso, an esteemed scientist and polymath, was associated with the institute.[1] After the Clone Wars, Orson Callan Krennic held administrative post at the facility, where he screened scientists for expertise in energy manipulation, materials science, and theoretical physics.[2]
