Infrabinoculars were a device similar to macro- and electrobinoculars. Designed to enhance awareness in urban environments, infrabinoculars picked up heat signatures instead of enhancing vision. High-powered versions could detect heat through shielded walls and other barriers up to two meters thick.[1]
