Induction chips were a form of identification used by the Imperial Army. They were issued to new recruits and draftees, and were required to allow onward transit to Imperial training facilities. Alliance agents infiltrating Training Camp IMIIF-138 on Sirpar were supplied with induction chips acquired from draftees from Andooweel who had defected to the Alliance.[1]
