The Incisor Sidestep was a hyperspace route that connected Anoat[1]—a planet in the Anoat sector[2]—and Sullust[1]—a planet in the Sullust sector[3]—both in the Outer Rim Territories region of the galaxy. As such the route acted as a connection between the much longer Corellian Trade Spine and Rimma Trade Route, as Anoat and Sullust also sat on those routes respectively.[1]
Sullust also acted as a junction from the Incisor Sidestep onto the secret Imperial Sanctuary Pipeline to the moon of Endor.[4] The former pirate Queen Maz Kanata marked the Incisor Sidestep as one of the "real" routes for smugglers to use, as oppose to the official ones, on a map that she included in the book that would eventually become known as the Smuggler's Guide.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Incisor Sidestep was first mentioned in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, which was written by Daniel Wallace.[1]
