The Impossible Sector was a region of the Unknown Regions that included a notoriously dangerous smuggling route. During the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, Imperial-allied Mandalorians erected a minefield in the Impossible Sector, blocking Republic-commissioned smuggler traffic.
