The Imperial heavy repeater was a type of weapon manufactured by BlasTech Industries[1] and used by the Imperial Army. The repeater fired ionized bursts of metallic bolt at an incredibly rapid rate.[2] At some point during the reign of the Galactic Empire, Masse Goskey and his associate Ephant Mon, who ran Masse Goskey's Arms Emporium and Explosives Mart[1] in Mos Eisley spaceport on the planet Tatooine,[3] purchased an Imperial heavy repeater for 2,700 credits. Mon recorded the transaction in the Smuggler's Guide, a book that was owned by various criminals, with each adding information to the guide.[1]
