Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A type of spider-like construction droid was utilized by the Galactic Empire for the assembly of large-scale construction projects. These construction droids were notably used for the assembly of the first Death Star's superlaser above Scarif[1] in 5 BBY.[3] They were also carried on board Imperial-class Star Destroyers, where they were used to repair damage to the ships' hull and perform modifications and upgrades.[4]
