The Imperial Second Division was a division of the Imperial Military during the time of the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin, it was deployed on the planet Tatooine under the orders of General Zaster. During this time, Zaster was very concerned about the expansion of the criminal group known as the Alkhara Bandits. General Zaster eventually sent an official notice to all Imperial personnel on Tatooine in order to reinforce patrols in the areas concerned by the Bandits' activities.[1]
