Imperial Decree 3263827 was a piece of Imperial legislation that stated that all Imperial subjects had to carry identification on them at all times. Failure to produce identification on demand, was grounds for immediate adjudication. The decree was referred to in the Imperial propaganda poster Carry Identification.[1]

The number of the decree[1] is the same as garbage masher 3263827, where Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia were trapped in the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.[2]
