Imono Durshana was a Force-sensitive Human male who resided on the Core Worlds planet Rhinnal. Although originally a staff member of the Rhinnal State Medical Academy, Imono Durshana, motivated by a desire to be part of something greater than himself, volunteered to work at the local Jedi chapter house. At first, he was an idealist, but Durshana gradually became increasingly conspiracy-minded and delusional, often adopting an antagonistic stance toward those who challenged his views. While on duty, he wears the workday green-and-blue uniform of the chapter house. However, during his personal time, he dresses in Jedi robes, proudly displaying a Jedi medallion and carrying a nonfunctional lightsaber replica, reflecting his fixation on Jedi identity.
Behind the scenes
Imono Durshana was introduced in Coruscant and the Core Worlds, a sourcebook for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, published by Wizards of the Coast on January 3, 2003. The sourcebook offered players several adventure hooks for their home campaigns. One such scenario, titled «Quarantine», involved the character Imono Durshana.
According to the scenario, the group of players finds themselves placed under mandatory quarantine at the Rhinnal State Medical Academy. Escaping from this place isn’t a simple matter: the hospital is larger than a Star Destroyer. The heroes must also take pains not to harm innocent hospital employees. Complicating the matter is Imono Durshana, a lunatic who is a member of the hospital staff. He believes the characters are cursed (possibly because of their actions in a previous adventure). If he can get the drop on the «hexed» haracters, he attempts to kill them.
