- "What became of Cadet Illorus, Unit Forn?"
"Dismissed after second failure to achieve objectives during combat training, sir." - ―Aresko asks Currahee about Illorus
Illorus was a girl who trained as a cadet in the Academy for Young Imperials on the planet Lothal around five years before the Battle of Yavin. During her training she was a part of the all-female Unit Forn along with three other cadets; however, after failing twice to achieve objectives during a combat training exercise she was dismissed from the academy. Commandant Cumberlayne Aresko later inquired what had become of Illorus, and was informed of her dismissal by Sergeant Currahee, after which her place in Forn was filled by a student transferred from one of Lothal's other academies.[2]
Behind the scenes
Illorus was first mentioned in Servants of the Empire: Rebel in the Ranks, a novel by Jason Fry which was published in 2015. While several of the cadets from Unit Forn make actual appearances in the book, none of the appearing girls are ever named and since it is unclear at what point Illorus is dismissed it is unclear if any of these cadets are supposed to be her.

Notes and references
- ↑ Illorus was a student at the one year Academy for Young Imperials at the same time as Zare Leonis. Star Wars: Galactic Atlas establishes that Leonis was a cadet in 5 BBY. Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide states that the youngest Imperial Academies begin training Cadets is "13 standard years of age." This means Illorus must have been born at least thirteen years before, by 18 BBY.
