Ieklior was a Chiss who held the rank of Mid Commander in the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet and served as a pilot aboard the Chiss heavy cruiser Springhawk.[1] In 18 BBY,[2] as the Springhawk was en route back to the Chiss Ascendancy from the Unknown Regions planet Rapacc, Ieklior noticed that the warship was off-course, which he reported to Senior Commander Plikh'ar'illmorf, core name "Kharill." The commander subsequently reported Ieklior's discovery to the heavy cruiser's acting commanding officer, Mid Captain Ufsa'mak'ro, core name "Samakro," who soon figured out that the vessel's navigator, sky-walker Che'ri, had intentionally altered the Springhawk's course.[1]

Ieklior appeared in the 2021 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil, the final installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
