An individual was the grandgrub of the Neimoidian Valo Security Force officer Idrax Snat. While on[1] the Outer Rim[2] planet Valo[1] in 231 BBY,[3] a pair of Bonbrak technicians accompanying the Jedi Padawan Ram Jomaram insulted the grandgrub. Snat took offense and put the group into custody, despite the Padawan's protests that he urgently needed to talk to Jedi Master Kunpar Vasivola.[1]

Idrax Snat's grandgrub was mentioned in Race to Crashpoint Tower, a 2021 junior novel written by Daniel José Older as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[4]
