- "Idrall's organization has been reported to be responsible for numerous smuggling operations, extortion attempts, and has also issued bounties for other crime figures. Recent reports indicate that Idrall has rebuffed approaches from the Empire, indicating that either the Twi'lek has many more resources than is readily apparent, or he feels that the Empire won't truly bother with him (or he's not nearly as smart as he's generally given credit for)."
- ―General Airen Cracken
Some time after the fall of the Empire, crime lord Jor Idrall led a criminal organization. Crimes committed by the organization included smuggling and extortion attempts.
History
At around 7 BBY,[2] Idrall's organization was rather small, with about twenty personnel in his service. It was reported Idrall's influence was expanding, while in fact Idrall's subordinates spread stories about their notorious leader. In reality, all of Idrall's operations at the time had been personally carried out by him and his team as they moved from system to system. Although Idrall maintained a small base on Tatooine, its role in his criminal activities was very limited. It was true that Idrall, along with other crime bosses, had been suffering losses to the smuggling operation of Talon Karrde. Karrde's influence was rapidly growing, and he was poised to soon control much of the illegal activities in the galaxy, similar to Jabba's former dominance.[1]
In an addendum by General Airen Cracken, it was stated that Idrall refused approaches by the Empire. In fact, Idrall had begun stealing supplies and weapons from the Empire, selling these items to pirates, mercenaries, bounty hunters, and assassins. The organization was at the source of various smuggling operations and extortion attempts. It also provided bounties for other crime figures.[1]
