An ice nebula was a type of nebula. The Kijimi Nebula in the Mid Rim Kijimi system was one example of an ice nebula which had fields of ice shards and pockets dense clouds.[1]
Behind the scenes
An ice nebula first appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[2] Prior to the game's release on August 30, 2024, it was first pictured, though unidentified, in the game's "Official Story Trailer" that was released on April 9 of the same year.[3] The term "ice nebula" was first used in The Art of Star Wars: Outlaws reference book[1] released on August 19, 2025.[4]
