The Ice Speeder is an airspeeder design used by the Grand Army of the Republic.

Characteristics

The Ice Speeder is a Grand Army of the Republic transport airspeeder design modified for use in cold weather operations. It features insulation, under panel heating, and advanced de-icing technology, along with S-foils, reinforced armor, and a pair of blaster cannons. It can reach speeds of 800 k/h with twin propulsion thrusters and mounts a tractor beam. The speeder is piloted by one individual, who also acts as the gunner.

History

Commander Gree used one during the Battle for the Stolen Crystals.
