IK-4C was the designation of a combat battle droid serving the reconstituted Sith Empire deployed to Nar Shaddaa during the Cold War with the Galactic Republic. Stationed in the Imperial Intelligence Gadget Warehouse, he was reprogrammed by Republic Strategic Information Service agent Trace, who planted in him a subroutine preventing him from harming Republic citizens. Trace also used the droid for secure remote holo-communications.[1]
