Hyperthermia was a Force power. It could be bestowed upon an individual after several months of attunement to a spinel tasar crystal. Hyperthermia allowed the individual to perceive minute temperature differences in objects. The ability could also be used to find inanimate objects in the dark, as well as being a diagnostic aid for healing.[1]
