Hyperwave comm scanners, or hyperwave comm/scanners[1] were a component of some First Order starships. Both Upsilon-class command shuttles and Resurgent-class Star Destroyers made use of them. The shuttles' scanners were located on the wings, while the Star Destroyers' were located near the bridge.[2]
