- "On a visit to Arvala-7 awhile back, I was baterin' with some Jawas over a slightly used hypersonic oven when somethin' far more interestin' caught my eye."
- ―Strono Tuggs, The Life Day Cookbook
A hypersonic oven was a type of oven. The Artiodac chef at one point tried to barter with a group of Jawas in a sandcrawler on[1] the planet[2] Arvala-7 for a slightly used hypersonic oven. While bartering, Tuggs noticed the egg of Mudhorn among the Jawa's possessions and ended up bartering a cargo pod full of random appliances for it instead of trading for the hypersonic oven. Tuggs mentioned the incident in his second cookbook, The Life Day Cookbook, which he released at some point after publishing his first cookbook[1] in 34 ABY.[3]
Behind the scenes
Hypersonic ovens were mentioned in the 2021 Star Wars: The Life Day Cookbook, a recipe book written by Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak.[1]
