A hypermatter reactor, also called a hypermatter annihilator, was a type of reactor core that created enormous amounts of power by destroying hypermatter.[1][2]
History
Most spacecraft were equipped with different models of hypermatter annihilator reactors for traveling through hyperspace.[3] The Porax-38 starfighter was representative of the long-range starfighters that utilized hypermatter reactors.[4] In the Death Stars, the reactor was fueled by many stellar fuel bottles that lined its rim.[1][5]
