The Hutt Poaching Station was an outpost that the Hutt Cartel operated in the Hunter's Canopy region of the Outer Rim planet Akiva[1] in 3 ABY.[2] During this time the Hutts formed an alliance with Surat Nuat and his gang in order to expand their influence to Akiva. As a result, Surat Nuat had a keycard that accessed to the Hutt Cartel District's vault in the capital city Myrra which Nuat kept in the poaching outpost. At the same time the Hutts kept a copy of the Imperial Security Bureau's report on the rebel Asara Deyn, a Akivan style belt and the materials to apply a Galactic Republic style paint scheme to a S57 Cardinal speeder bike at the outpost.[1]

During 3 ABY, the thief Kay Vess stole the report on Asara Deyn, the belt, Surat Nuat's keycard and the paint materials from the outpost. Vess would later use the keycard to steal from the Hutt's vault.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Hutt Poaching Station first appeared in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws. The outpost contained the "Akiva Thief belt" which restored health when the player performed stealth takedowns or used smoke bombs as well as decreasing detection when wearing all the thief clothing.[1]
