The Human-Qieg Guild was the ruling consortium of the planet Lan Barell and the Lan system in the Outer Rim Territories, and was a stable alliance of mining guilds and companies.
The Human-Qieg Guild became part of the Galactic Empire, but under agreement with them was able to retain some independent while its mining operations were valued for taxation purposes. Representatives of the local Moff would arrive twice a year to remind the population of who was really in control.
