Hopper Town was a dense, mixed residential and business neighborhood in the city of NiJedha, on the holy moon Jedha prior[2] to the city's destruction in 1 BBY.[1] Around that time, the origin of the name of the settlement had long been lost. Hopper Town was close to the Old Market and featured squat buildings with narrow alleyways between them, so much so that former Guardian of the Whill Baze Malbus could only make his way through them moving sideways.[2]
Behind the scenes
Hopper Town first appeared in the novel Guardians of the Whills, which was written by Greg Rucka and released in 2017.[2] It was later pictured in Jon Tsuei's 2021 manga adaptation of the novel Guardians of the Whills: The Manga, pencilled by Subaru.[3]
