A homing concussion missile was a short-range, wingless concussion missile generally deployed by vehicle-mounted launchers that possessed homing capability. Examples of these were the HM-6 Concussion Missile Launcher, utilized by the Rebel Alliance's RZ-1 A-wing interceptors and the Sienar Fleet Systems M-s3 concussion missile launcher, utilized by the Galactic Empire's TIE/sa bombers. Besides their usage on starfighters, they are also utilized on ground vehicles, such as the Dymek DW-3 concussion grenade launcher utilized by the Galactic Empire's All Terrain Scout Transport vehicles. They could also be customized onto starfighters.

During Rogue Squadron's participation in the Raid on Bespin, Rogue Leader Wedge Antilles procured some homing concussion missiles from a tibanna gas platform, although it came at the cost of the destruction of most of the tibanna gas containers on the platform from an Imperial Tanker's detonation in close proximity to the containers.
