This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

A lightsaber was created by the sabersmith Lah Zhima and was given to the Jedi Homen. The lightsaber's kyber crystal was tempered so that its color would reflect the user's connection to the Force, and its blade was red before turning purple while Homen wielded it during his fight against Lah Kara.^[1]
