- "Beldorion has drafted me into editing and retaping his formidable library of Huttese pornography."
- ―Liegeus Vorn
Holoporn was a holographic form of pornography that could be found on black markets of worlds affiliated with the Rebellion against the Galactic Empire between 0 ABY and 4 ABY. Around 10 ABY, the Kailio Entertainments corporation and Lucin Syndicate were involved in legal and illegal holoporn respectively. By 13 ABY, the Hutt Beldorion owned a formidable library of holographic Huttese pornography, for which he hired the holo faker Liegeus Vorn to edit and retape.
Description
Holoporn was pornography in the form of holograms. Some holoporn was legal, but illegal holoporn existed as well.[1]
History
- "I've gotta shipment of holographic Hutt-smut that absolutely, positively must be delivered overnight to the Kurluvion system. They just love Hutt-smut there, can't get enough."
- ―A Snivvian
In 0 BBY,[5] the smuggler Han Solo was approached by a Snivvian while looking for prospective clients in[4] Chalmun's Cantina in the Mos Eisley spaceport on the planet Tatooine.[6] The Snivvian claimed that they had a shipment of Hutt holoporn to be delivered to the Kurluvion system, telling the smuggler that the system's population loved holographic Hutt pornography. Solo informed the Snivvian that[4] he[6] had integrity and considered being frozen in carbonite preferable to smuggling Hutt holoporn, declining the job offer.[4]
Kailio Entertainments (logo pictured) was a holoporn distributor.
It was possible to find pornographic holos on black markets of planets either affiliated with the Rebellion against the Galactic Empire[7] or located near the Rebellion's bases[2] between 0 ABY and 4 ABY.[8] Between 0 ABY and approximately 1 ABY,[9] a Twi'lek watched a hologram of[10] the virtual reality[11] woman Mermeia[12] dancing.[10]
Around 10 ABY,[13] the Hutt-owned Kailio Entertainments was a distributor for one of the galaxy's biggest holoporn industries and the Lucin Syndicate ran a major Outer Rim Territories production and distribution center of illegal holographic pornography on the planet Majilop.[1] By 13 ABY,[14] the Hutt ruler of the planet Nam Chorios, Beldorion, was in possession of a formidable collection of Huttese holoporn, commissioning the Human holo faker Liegeus Vorn to edit and retape his library.[3] That year,[14] Vorn told the New Republic representative Leia Organa Solo about it and confessed that even his previous job of ghost-writing love poems for Gamorreans did not make him as scared.[3]
