HoloNet News logo

HoloNet News was an official Star Wars podcast which was created in 2008 as a tie-in to the Clone Wars television series. The podcast, which was downloadable for free at StarWars.com and iTunes, features in-universe broadcasts detailing the events of the Clone Wars. The iTunes feed may be accessed here.

Republic Heroes

A series of podcasts were released to tie into the fall 2009 video game Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, under the title A Galaxy Divided.

Behind the scenes

On September 30, 2008, Pablo Hidalgo announced on his blog that HoloNet News would continue in light of the new Clone Wars projects.^[1] On October 3, 2008, StarWars.com began continuing HoloNet News in an audio format, designed to follow the events of The Clone Wars TV series.^[2]
