HoloNet Free Republic was a HoloNet communications organization funded by the Alliance to Restore the Republic. During the Galactic Civil War, HoloNet Free Republic transmitted pirate feeds of pro-Alliance propaganda to Galactic Empire-held star systems. To repressed beings or Alliance sympathizers, HoloNet Free Republic's transmissions were a source of hope.
