Hellip was an fleet commander who served in the New Republic's fleet during the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire.[1] In 5 ABY,[2] an attempt to wipe out life and civilization on the planet Chadawa by the Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing was thwarted by New Republic forces led by General Hera Syndulla. Following the battle, Syndulla handed over control of local operations to Hellip.[1]
The fleet commander was tasked with dealing with the battle's aftermath, which included violence that had broken out on several of Chadawa's continents, a rogue Imperial government that was still in place, and radiation that had been spilled during the 204th's attempts to devastate the world, though the latter issue was limited to unoccupied regions of the planet.[1]
Behind the scenes
Hellip was mentioned in the 2021 novel Victory's Price: An Alphabet Squadron Novel, which was written by Alexander Freed as the final installment of his trilogy, Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron.[1]

- ↑ The events of Victory's Price: An Alphabet Squadron Novel begin after the Cerberon system campaign, and the novel also features the Battle of Jakku at the end of its three main sections. Since Star Wars: Timelines dates both of those conflicts to 5 ABY, the main events of Victory's Price must therefore be set in that year. Furthermore, since the mention of Hellip in Victory's Price occurs prior to the Battle of Jakku, it must also have taken place that year.
