- "The general believes that if Black Squadron intercepts the data archive disguised as smugglers…Mek Nu'Tiv won't know the Resistance was involved and keep her neutral in our efforts against the First Order."
- ―C-3PO
After the trader Mek Nu'Tiv obtained an archive that contained what was left of the Royal Library of Alderaan, both the Resistance and the smuggler Han Solo organized their own heist to take it for themselves. While Solo impersonated an officer of the First Order, the Resistance's Black Squadron posed as smugglers. During the heist, Solo discovered what the archive contained, and secretly let Poe Dameron find it, taking it back to General Leia Organa on D'Qar.[1]
