Hammerhead (Japanese: ハンマーヘッド) was an armored assassin hired by the Empire around 0 BBY to serve on the first Death Star. They were not particularly skilled, however.[1]

Behind the scenes

Hammerhead first appeared in the 1987 Japanese Star Wars video game for the Famicom home console.[2] Their name was revealed in the Japanese language guide of the game serialized in Family Computer Magazine, in which it was rendered as ハンマーヘッド (Hanmaaheddo) in katakana syllabary.[1]
