The hamarin interface band was a primary module which could interface a cyborg with a computer uplink device. By the time of the Black Fleet Crisis, the cyborg Lobot had worn his hamarin interface band for thirty-four years, without having ever removed it for maintenance, sleep or vanity.[1]
