Lieutenant Halpern was a Human male officer of the Imperial Navy during the Cold War. He was stationed aboard Adamas Space Station, orbiting the planet of Hoth. Around 3642 BBY, he asked an Imperial traveler to take a shuttle to the surface and talk to Colonel Vannis about the ongoing Battle of Hoth with the Galactic Republic.[1]
