Hal was the First Mate of the Curich-class shuttle Resurgence.[1] He had served under Captain Gorgi for over a year. Hal was extremely loyal to his captain, even going so far as to follow his orders over Governor-General Dixton's. A heavyset man, Hal carried an assortment of tools with him that he used to repair starships.[2]
