HS-2300 heat sink

A HS-2300 heat sink was a model of heat sink that could be installed on a starship. The heat sink could temporarily boost the rate of fire of mounted laser cannons and prevent them from overheating.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] a group of smugglers had stashed a HS-2300 heat sink in their hideout in the North Jundland Wastes region of Tatooine, a desert planet in the Outer Rim.[1]

During 3 ABY,[2] the thief Kay Vess raided the hideout and stole the heat sink. She later installed it on the Trailblazer, her EML-850 light freighter.[1]
