H. Ploodrib'l was an individual who,[1] approximately four years before the Battle of Yavin,[2] was imprisoned along with many others by the Galactic Empire.[1]
Behind the scenes
The name "H. Ploodrib'l" first appeared in "Rebel Resolve," the twelfth episode of the first season of Star Wars Rebels; written in Aurebesh in a prisoner data file. The designation "CA-1977" next to their name[1] seems to be a reference to 1977, the year Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope was released.[3] The designations "AD-1980" and "TK-1983" appear next to the names of the next two prisoners, Cay Ploon Kett and L. Izz Nezz respectively;[1] 1980 was the year Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back was released,[4] while Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi was released in 1983.[5] "WN-1999" appears next to another prisoner's name, Ril Ion Aire;[1] 1999 was the release of year Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[6]
