Gzin was the four-armed Shipyard Master of the Golden Nyss Shipyards during the final decade of the Galactic Republic.[2] In 33 BBY, the smuggler Vilmarh Grahrk incited the reptilian species known as the Yinchorri to launch an aggressive expansion beyond their system. Grahrk’s plan involved seizing one of the Golden Nyss shipyards, so he secretly loaded his starship with a crowd of armed Yinchorri, declaring in the cargo manifest that he was transporting «live food replenishment». As he approached the station, Gzin contacted him to inquire about the cargo. The Devaronian truthfully revealed the plan, but Gzin dismissed it as just another joke. Shipyard Master Gzin assigned Grahrk an empty hangar and ended the transmission. Unfortunately for the shipyard overseer, Vilmarh had been telling the truth. The Yinchorri massacred the personnel, seized all docked ships, and then destroyed the shipyards.[1]
