Guardian Corps

The Guardian Corps was a formation of war-robots employed by the military of Xim the Despot's empire. Numbering one thousand war-robots, the Guardian Corps were transported by the treasure ship Queen of Ranroon to the planet Dellalt to guard the Treasure Vaults of Xim the Despot.^[1] On Dellalt, the Guardian Corps were maintained by the "Survivors,"^[2] who were descended from Queen of Ranroon's original crew and honor guards.^[3]

In 2 BBY, Han Solo and Chewbacca were on Dellalt and came up against the Guardian Corps. The Survivors used the war-robots against a mining operation led by J'uoch. The Guardian Corps were defeated when they marched over a bridge, creating a harmonic resonance that caused the bridge to crumble. The Guardian Corps fell into the ravine below and were destroyed.^[4]
