Grotnix was a term that could be used as an insult.[1] Around 58 BBY,[2] when the Serennian Jedi Master Dooku encountered his brother Ramil during the forty-eighth annual Dragonfire Air Rally airspeeder race on the planet Coruscant and asked whether their father, Count Gora of the planet Serenno, had reached a resolution regarding a dispute between workers and droids, Ramil called Gora an incontinent old grotnix, claiming he could hardly reach the bathroom.[1]
Behind the scenes
Grotnix was first mentioned in flashbacks in the audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost, written by Cavan Scott[3] and published on April 30, 2019.[4] The spelling of its name was provided in the audio drama's script release[1] on October 1 of that year.[4]
