The Griren Province was located on the[1] Inner Rim[2] planet Hapor.[1] In 0 ABY,[3] the Hand of Judgment, a team of five stormtrooper deserters of the Galactic Empire, participated in a lesser water dispute in the province. Within three months of the dispute, Emperor's Hand Mara Jade read a report on the Hand of Judgment's involvement in the event.[1]

The Griren Province was mentioned in Timothy Zahn's 2011 novel Choices of One.[1]
