Green Squadron was a Galactic Republic starfighter squadron equipped with Aurek-class tactical strikefighters and S-250 Chela-class starfighters.[1]

In the 3956 BBY Battle of Rakata Prime of the Jedi Civil War,[2] this unit flew with Admiral Forn Dodonna's strike force against Darth Malak's Sith Empire. Noticing a break in the enemy formations, Dodonna ordered the squadron to move in, breaking through the Sith lines—followed into the breach by Red Squadron. Their position reinforced by capital ships, the Republic forces struck at the Star Forge itself, destroying the ancient Rakata space station and ending the battle.[1]
