Grappling line

A grappling line, also known as an electro grappling line, was a device designed to combat the abilities of the Jedi.[1][2]

Characteristics

A grappling line functioned much like a whipcord launcher, but instead fired a glowing yellow energized line that could not be cut by a lightsaber.[1] Mandalorian vambraces usually featured a grappling line.[3] Sabine Wren used a grappling line to entangle Kanan Jarrus, who was able to slash at the line and free himself—though did not cut the line. Later, Sabine was able to fire the line accurately enough to retrieve the fallen Darksaber, in order to continue her duel with Kanan.[1]
