A graphin was a creature with gray fur. The criminal Melo Tolicus wore a makeshift shawl made of graphin hide while being transported aboard the prison ship Palwick[1] in 132 BBY.[2]

The hide of a graphin first appeared in the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which was released on June 4, 2024 on Disney+.[3] It was identified in Pablo Hidalgo's 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide.[1]
