The Grand Stairway was a curved staircase that passed through at least three stories of a tower that rose from the concessions concourses in the Mos Espa Grand Arena in the city of Mos Espa on the planet Tatooine. Gray in color, the staircase ended on the top floor of the tower beside rooms for private deal making. A popular place to spot famous podracers, the Grand Stairway was used by a number of individuals during the Boonta Eve Classic podrace[1] held in 32 BBY.[2]

The Grand Stairway was first mentioned in the 2000 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I, which was written by Kristin Lund and illustrated by Richard Chasemore and Hans Jenssen.
