Govena was a human Jedi Master during the High Republic Era. Govena served in the Jedi Temple armory, constructing lightsabers. One month after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, Govena received word from the Jedi High Council that, as part of the newly implemented Guardian Protocols, less-detailed battle sabers would need to be constructed en masse.[1]
In 228 BBY,[3] she was present for a briefing before the Jedi High Council when a mission to return a dozen Nameless to their homeworld was planned. Along with Kirak Infil'a, Govena helped design armor using Tolisian ore that was worn by the Luminous Nine to resist the Nameless effect in their mission to return the Nameless to their homeworld. She and Infil'a met Reath Silas in a chamber outside of the Nameless holding cells and helped him don the specialized armor while explaining its construction.[2]
