Gort (Houk)

Gort was a Houk[1] male who, during the height of the Clone Wars, frequented Maggot's Cantina, located in the planet Anzat's[2] spaceport.

Gort was at Maggot's Cantina when Jedi Knight Aayla Secura was looking for Dark Jedi Sora Bulq on that planet. He said he had seen the Weequay and told her where she could find him.

Behind the scenes

Gort first appeared in the comic Republic 72, written by John Ostrander, drawn by Jan Duursema[1] and released on December 24, 2004.[3] In Gort's entry in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, a 2008 reference book written by Pablo Hidalgo and Stephen J. Sansweet, he is misidentified as a member of the Besalisk species.[2]
