The Golden Pylat Award was an award that shared its name with[2] the Neimoidian pylat bird.[3] Prior to[2] the Neimoidian–led[4] Trade Federation's invasion of the planet Naboo in 32 BBY,[5] the Trade Federation Occupation Council's chronicler, the Neimoidian Viff Almay, wrote a biography of Trade Baron Uunos Gooru, for which she won the Golden Pylat Award.[2]
Behind the scenes
On January 21, 2014,[6] the Golden Pylat Award was introduced in "The Devious Neimoidians Revealed," an article written for the 147th issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine.[2]
